CURRENT MISSION
"It's not the place that matters, it's the people you are in with"
ABOUT ME
Hello everyone !!
My name is Dimitri, I'm French and I lived in Spain for my studies, Venice, Los Angeles and now Frankfurt for my job. I wanna get to meet other people since a few years, ago my Erasmus experience opened me up to wanting to know more about the world, I wanna travel but I also want people to know the city I live in : Toulouse. It's full of history and full of funny stuff to do as well !! My only condition would be to know the people before, see if there's a good connection, I'd like responsible people who can also be funny and interesting. That's why I'd like at first a little chat between the two of us ^^. I happen to travel a lot so I'm not that often in my house but know that if I'm here, you're more than welcome !
Have a nice day !
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not complicated, I just like respectful, interesting people as I am myself (well, the interesting part is for you to discover ! but I like chatting with people, I have a hunger to always know new people)
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As i said, my Erasmus experience last year made me realize that I wanted to see the world, to get to know other cultures... But I'm not just interested in traveling, I'm proud of the town I live in and that has welcome me with open arms. It works both ways : I wanna travel but I also want people to know the city I live in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's the first time I do that, a friend of mine told me a friend of his was doing that so I was curious and I loved the concept !
Centres d'intérêt
I don't think I'm that different from other people my age. I like music, hanging out with my friends, having fun with them, talking, watching movies... That's a tricky question but I think I'm the average guy ! :D
- books
- movies
- traveling
- music
- history
- study abroad
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I'm a huge series fan !!
As for the music, I listen almost to every kind of style.
Since I'm working on my thesis, I have to say that I don't have lots of time to read anything but history books. But I love fantasy, horror, gothic literature.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I listen to my instincts: I've spent the past ten years living and travelling abroad all the while doing the one thing I love: teach. Spain, UK, USA, Germany, Italy (twice)... The soul of an adventurer with a heart of gold (just like a stripper).
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
As a medieval history student in Toulouse, I can show the town around to anyone, it's a city filled with some great stories to tell. But what I love most is to talk to people about the little things that happened in these streets. The best thing you can learn are not in books, they are on the streets :D
