Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning to come and visit Manchester for UK Drum Show. The date of show is 21 22 September. but I want to come 2 or 3 days earlier and want to meet new people who has common interests with me and discover a new city with them. Also I need a place to stay, and I know nobody in there.
