ABOUT ME
Sorry, I am planning a wedding reception, packing for a move, and getting ready for grad school! I can't take guests right now :(
No matter how bad things get, you can always have a margarita, eat something tasty, and take a nap. You'll feel better when you wake up.
Yes, I'm a little hedonist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
...Staying at a great place in Manhattan and somehow getting front row seats at the funniest freaking show in Greenwich village thanks to my fabulous host val....
...Going on a field-trip to the Bronx zoo with an hilariously fun ESL institute group because my host David's girlfriend was going and invited me to tag along...
...The korean/Mexican donut shop in Dallas with the bestest ever maple-bacon donuts (wHut . . . )
Whenever my soul is exhausted or my heart is broken, nothing serves to remind me of how amazing people really are as the way they are so willing to open their homes or the way they so enjoy helping a newcomer navigate through their city. It restores my faith in humanity.
Interests
I was just accepted to grad school for Occupational therapy and will be moving to Pennsylvania this summer! Wowza!
Anthropology, Culture, Biology. Languages, Music. I read way too much: I love dorky science writing about genetics and the like, although I'm starting to really get into short stories. I love Music. Music is my soul. Either that or food. God I love spicy food.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read voraciously and listen to pretty much everything (yes, even country).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Imagine you're crossing the Andes in this 25 year old beater car. You've never been above sea level (except on a pressurized plane) and you can't breathe. You get to almost the top of the mountain, this little tiny town called Ticlayo, and eat this wonderful goat cheese with some tasty tasty bread and drink a coca tea. You top the mountain and begin the descent. The weather changes, the ground changes, everything becomes waterfalls and greenery, and you pull up into the rainforest.
Also, you maybe passed out coming down the mountain because you get altitude sickness and didn't know that about yourself.
Teach, Learn, Share
See languages. Ha.
I can also dance a decent salsa, bachata, or merengue.
I'm a decently good dog trainer?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I promise to laugh at all of your jokes and give you lots of compliments?
Fair warning: I personally view the entire point of couchsurfing as a way to meet and get to know diverse and interesting people. If you message me with a completely blank profile, I'm not going to accept your hosting request.
