My fiancé and I have recently moved to Thonon-les-Bains and are still discovering the region.

I have been an English teacher working abroad for many years, and my fiancé is a carpenter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Leyla: Throughout my life I've always dreamt of travelling the world, and up until now I've stuck to it pretty well (I even managed to incoorporate it into my studies and career choices). And although I've made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun along the way, I believe it's hard to get to know a place well if you're not going to spend much time there.. so, I figured staying with locals will help me to get to know a place better, even if it is for a short period of time. And through hosting, I can listen to various travellers tales from all sorts of walks of life and be inspired to go to different places that are off the beaten path :)

Leyla: I'm a linguist who loves learning about different cultures, who also enjoys creative art, attending concerts, salsa dancing, snowboarding, camping and generally being outdoors. I'm a fast learner and always open to trying something new.

Thibaut: A carpenter who enjoys working on wooden projects, attending concerts, fishing, reading, snowboarding, camping

I like most types of music, especially if it's live.
We watch all films and series in the original language with subtitles.
