In May 2017, I will be based in Mexico - DF and Puebla.

Prior to backpacking, I have lived in the Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago and San Francisco areas.

In 2017 I plan to get at least two new stamps in my passport - Colombia y México.

When I travel, I love to meet soulful people, learn about the daily rhythm of life in that area, laugh, cook, eat, whistle, sing and dance.

I am still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

CS has introduced me to some fantastic human beings. I'm glad to contribute to this magical community and spread the love.

2011: I surfed in Chicago for the first time. I consider my host to be one of my close friends here now!

2013: I surfed in Anchorage, AK and had a lot of fun with my host and her friends. The world is big and CS makes it smaller and friendlier. I love that.

2015: A friend and I surfed with a generous host in Monterey, CA. Her home turned out to be on one of the oldest golf courses west of the Mississippi. She filled us in on the best places to grab coffee and the local hidden gem hiking spots.

2016: I surfed for a few nights in the San Juan Islands of upper Washington state. It's an echanting place and I loved my time up there.

Hiking, yoga, running, cooking, baking, gardening, tea, journaling, reading, lifelong learning. Also starting to get into meditation and various craft projects.

Currently: brushing up on Spanish/Castellano while living in Latin America for 6 months

I treasure each sunrise & sunset I have the privilege of experiencing. As a great woman once said, "There is a sunrise and a sunset every day and you can choose to be there for it. You can put yourself in the way of beauty."

Past favorite sunsets have been on the southern coast of Ecuador; Huanchaco, Peru; the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina, USA; Lands End in San Francisco, USA; the Boundary Waters in Minnesota, USA; along Lake Michigan in Wisconsin and Illinois, USA.
