Hey!

We are a family of four, currently living in Zagreb. I'm originally from Ukraine and my husband is from the USA + 2 girls (3 and 7 years old).

We like to play and listen to the music, do grocery shopping at the local food market, go bike riding around the lake nearby and do picnics, and we adooooore hosting guests for lunch.

Big fans of outdoor activities and Disney cartoons / movies (2 girls :)).
We have friends from different countries living in Zagreb - and we enjoy having an international vibe at our home.
We do not own a TV, and stay away from the global life generally - just enjoying being parents to our girls, eating healthy, working and living the simple joys of life.

We live in a very nice quiet family friendly neighborhood of Zagreb - Vrbani, right next to Jarun lake.
Our apartment is situated on the 11th floor with a fascinationg view of Zagorje and Sljeme mountain.
Our couch in the living room is up for hosting.
And our home is 100% kid friendly.
We love pets, but do not have any at home, and do not host them either.
We're a non-smoking family.
We love bossanova and we're learning portuguese, so we'd gladly practice it as well

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like getting to know different people, listen to their life stories, cook together, chill and do nothing as well. Have long afternoon coffees on our lovely balcony and eat pizza from a good restaurant downstairs :-)
Our kids love new-comers, and are happy to have them over, play and hear their stories.

WE PREFER LAST MINUTE REQUESTS OR SHORT ADVANCE NOTICE, which makes it an easier decision for us to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Definitely I hosted much more than I surfed :-) at least for now..
After having visited Brasil and Portugal I'm learning Portuguese now! Wanna practice more with native speakers.
Travellers with kids are welcome! We have a child too -so they will get along ;)
We offer a double bed (fouton actually) in our living room. So you'll have your own room to sleep in.
We are located near Nollendorfplatz. Close to everything basically. You can walk to the city center, Tiergarten, Zoo etc.
