I'm currently doing a masters program in Europe, combining this with some travelling and photography. I like meeting with new people and having deep conversations about things that are important to me/you/us. I enjoy being in the outdoors, either cycling, hiking or running. I take my camera with me everywhere I go and I could provide you with some portraits if you like. I meditate and do yoga often.
I enjoy going out exploring the city, as well as playing boardgames or a roadtrip/hike in natural areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted several people in my home in Mexico city, as well as in my forest house in the Netherlands. I have met kind, inspiring people and hope to host more people.

My favorite movie is La double vie de Véronique. No second thoughts. Sucker for science fiction.
I've been reading a lot by Steven Pinker (The better angels of our nature, The blank Slate) and Jared Diamond (Collapse, Guns, Germs and Steel). I greatly enjoy science fiction (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Brave New World, The Time Machine).

I love to cook! For me, love and friendship enter through the stomach. I love photography and I've given classes for beginners before. I know a fare amount of statistics, programming in R, C++, Mathematica. I love dancing (including salsa), so I can share a bit of that, and of course I could teach you my mother tongue Spanish.
