About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see all 195 countries in the world by the time I am 50. I hope to make a difference and meet new people in every place!

ABOUT ME

I am spontaneous, independent, and energetic. I love to have a good time and meet new people. I am very committed to my work, friends, and my family. I am very active- if I could run everywhere, I definitely would! I also love to travel and am always up for a last minute adventure :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everything happens for a reason.

"I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor." -Henry David Thoreau

Music, Movies, and Books

I discovered Dostoevsky while in Russia. His books changed my life.

I love discovering bands, books, and movies in different countries-- I think that they provide a great lens into a culture!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught entrepreneurship and consulted for a business plan competition in Ghana. The students had brilliant ideas and the experience was very rewarding.

I participated in Habitat for Humanity's lent build (30 houses in 40 days) in El Salvador. Although the work was hard, the relationships I formed made the difference we were making very tangible and sincere.

As for adventure: rainforest canopy tour in Ghana, failed, but fun attempts at surfing in Costa Rica, and a zip line course through the mountaintops of a coffee plantation in El Salvador

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help people with English, Spanish, cooking, and proof-reading papers. I also have some unexpected talents when it comes to gift wrapping and rhyming. Let me know if I can be of service :)

Countries I’ve Visited
