To wander as much as possible before I'm too old to enjoy it.

ABOUT ME

I have a strong desire to see new places.

I studied international relations in college, partly inspired by my travel itch. After a few years as a newspaper reporter in Colorado I went back to school for nursing which allows lots of flexibility for said travel!

Describing yourself is awkward-- if I had to pick a few adjectives they'd be mindful, accepting, and relaxed. I do get stir crazy when in one place for too long.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you'd want to be treated. Put yourself in another's shoes before you judge. Be genuine. Conserve and care for the planet. Be aware how your actions affect your neighbors, your community, your world. Don't be too rushed, stop to share stories and laughter. Embrace silence and tranquility.

Soccer/football, hiking, skiing, tennis, trying exotic food and drink, mosaics, good movies, live music, piano, museums, tiny houses, gardening, following current events.

I have music playing in the background almost all the time.

I used to be a bookworm and hope to make a dent in the big stack of books collecting on my bookshelf soon.

Diverse taste in movies. Just no Michael Bay please.

Watching The Wire, Game of Thrones, and RPDR were the best decisions I've made re television.

I'm a decent cook-- a few of my specialties are breakfast scrambles and chipotle shrimp tacos.

I also enjoy painting walls for some reason. If you have a boring room that needs to be spiced up, I'll help.
