ABOUT ME

I have a degree in Forestry, but have been working as a Registered Nurse for 12 years, and I have my own home inspection business. I am constantly on the go. Work a lot, and the rest of my time I like to spend outdoors. I take 2-3 vacations a year. Like camping, fishing, cooking out, gardening, anything with animals. Beekeeping is my hobby. Always like to learn new things, especially practical skills.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not much of a philosopher. So my philiosophy is : Do things rather than talk about them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer a couch which is actually a guest bedroom with private bath to surfers interested in exploring the Daytona Beach area. Since I am extremely busy, possibly I am not gonna be able to accompany you, but can give you good ideas about what to see, where to go.
IMPORTANT:
I work double shifts Sunday and Monday, so I can't host any couch surfers on these days. I also won't host anybody with:
- an incomplete profile AND 0 references,
- a request for more than 7 days,
- plans that are not related to travel for leisure(such as coming to town to work, got evicted, etc)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted more than surfed, but I liked both.

Most recently I was lucky enough to participate in a stranded whale rescue/rehab program. It was a very touching to work with those amazing marine mammals.For most of us it is a once in a lifetime kinda experience.
