About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I need to think about this

ABOUT ME

The heart of an Artist with a touch of geek. I am insatiably curious and always see beauty around me. The smallest things catch my attention: how the light sifts thru the leaves then suddenly changes, the tiniest pebble on a beach of stones, or fleeting expressions that cross someone's face. I can be very impulsive, and tend to live my life in an unplanned sort of way. When I give, I give 180%. I am told I am a great listener, and though I am sometimes quiet, when I speak, I speak frankly. I am very open minded and love to understand other points of view.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people as I would hope to be treated and try to understand situations from others perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, by hosting new and interesting people . I will never forget seeing France through the eyes of its countrymen, getting to see things I would never have had the opportunity to see! That is the experience I hope to offer my guests. I take great pride in my corner of the world and its a pleasure to see peoples reactions when they get a taste of the real New England they never thought existed. When I go on my next trip, I want to see places through the eyes of those who know it best!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its been a truly wonderful experience! Met many people who I've stayed in contact with and who have hosted me in their own countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer Independent Film, Documentary and anything about animals or the great forces of Nature. My tastes in music are eclectic and enjoy almost anything though I tend to shy away from hip hop and country. To me Led Zeppelin is the greatest band thats ever been. I read so much of so many things, whatever my current interest is, I research and research it until I start to understand something. Being a Chef I also read alot of cookbooks and books about Food Science!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the Sun rise over the Grand Canyon in Arizona USA., is like experiencing god in his finest hour. No words or photographs can even begin to do it justice!

Hiking up Mount St. Helens 15 years after the explosion, thinking I could imagine the volcanoes power then entering "blast zone" and actually seeing the scale of destruction.

Driving through Provence in early summer with Red Poppies blooming everywhere.

Venice, Venice, Venice!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I am a Pastry Chef and a pretty good cook, so I can teach people how to make a fantastic real all American Pie. I can also take people off the beaten path to places that are among New Englands most beautiful without the tourist crowds!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Mexico, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
