About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know people in every corner I pass by

ABOUT ME

I´m a journalist/marketer, currently based in Sao Paulo. In 2013 I was living in Dublin, in the quest for the craic and traveling around the old continent. Came back one year later. What really matters is that I´m funny (or try to), open-minded, respectful, curious, laid back, always on the mood to meet new people, hang out, have fun, travel. It´s very hard to see me in a bad mood because I always tend to see only the good side of anything, even when it is not that good.

PHILOSOPHY

"What you give is what you get"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have fun with gringos, practice english, have some drinks, going to clubs, show around the city...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a bunch of new friends back in São Paulo, hosted a girl from the Netherlands and surfed in Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. Had positive experiences with them all.

Interests

I grew up reading a lot about other countries, language and culture through books and on the internet. That gave me most of the knowledge about the world I own today.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, reggae, some electronic, folk and indie music. It depends mostly on my mood.

Books: The wettest county in the world (Matt Bondurant), On The Road (Jack Kerouac) and Orange Clockwork (Anthony Burgess) were the last ones I´ve read.

Movies: Horror (The Shining and The Silence of the Lambs were the first that came to my mind), documentaries, brazilian movies such as Meu nome não é Johnny and comedies (I would watch Ted and laugh again in the same scenes).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked around 10 countries in Eastern Europe for a month. Needless to describe how it feels here on CS, but yeah, amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share
