About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be everywhere

ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old industrial engineer from Kansas City. I now live in Houston, TX (pretty much) downtown. I studied abroad in Istanbul, Turkey and interned in smalltown, KS and Fort Worth, TX for a summer each. I love to travel and have been able to see some Europe and South America and a few more. I just started a new job, so I won't be able to go on long vacations for a while, but when I start getting my apartment pulled together I can host in the beautiful city of Houston!

PHILOSOPHY

You don't have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body. - CS Lewis

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host soon, but I need some time to settle into this new city before I start.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed five times now! In Istanbul, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, and Cairo! All experiences were awesome! I have hosted once but I never saw my surfer since I was mid-studying for a test :( My old roommate did most of the actual hosting on that one!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. My favorites are 90s and classic rock, even though I can appreciate anything. I also love movies but there is no way I can pick a favorite. I am still trying to find a book that is as good as Harry Potter...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in the Bosphorus Straight, which evidently is no-no. A man asked if my friends and I needed to be rescued. We didn't.
I hiked through Colca Canyon, 14 miles in one day. For a lot of you, that probably seems like no big deal, for me it was huge!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk to people who have adventurous souls! Or anyone willing to have an honest, unfiltered conversation

Countries I’ve Visited
