I want to experience new cultures, meet new people, look upon the wonderfully varied landscapes the world has to offer. I prefer to see the cities from a local's point of view.

ABOUT ME

I currently work as a registered nurse. It can be a difficult job but it helps to have a sense of humor. I have two dogs, a 11 year old German shepherd named Charlie and a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles and Chihuahua mix named Hash Brown.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe every day is a day we have to improve ourselves by learning from one another. The internet is a great tool to connect with people all over the world, and travel is the best way to gain new experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I most recently surfed in Switzerland and had a wonderful time! Both of my hosts were very generous and hospitable.

Currently I cannot host any surfers at this time because of my schedule. I'd be more than happy to meet up though!

Interests

I love trying new things, adventurous cuisine (even bugs), hiking, roadtrips, amateur photography, science and technology news, all things TV and movies, and collecting random bits of information that makes me excellent at trivia games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy the Song of Ice and Fire series, Harry Potter series, Divergent series, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch 22, A Prayer for Owen Meany.

Current faves in music are: Sam Smith, CHVRCHES, Future Islands, and Childish Gambino.

I have too many favorite movies so I'll list the first few that come to mind: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Stardust, Inception, Mary and Max, every Pixar film except Cars, Kill Bill, and Princess Bride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the highlights of my life is hiking to Machu Picchu, it was a life changing experience camping in the Peruvian highlands next to the cloud forest.
