Hello,

I'm Crystella from the beautiful part of Malaysia in Borneo (think about caves, waterfalls, head hunters and orangutan, proboscis, Rafflesia).
I am a solo independent female traveler, i enjoy travelling to every spot of the world, sometimes i would travel with other solo traveler/friends/ family. I really like to meet friends from all over the world with common interests while on the trip and explore the subsequent trips together.

Meeting people with different backgrounds intrigued me. I love hearing life stories, how people live and pursue their life as much as their personal opinions and views about the world today.

People around me say I'm funny with a great sense of humor and I can be a good listener too.
Generally I would say myself friendly, caring, an animal lover, shy and quiet sometimes.

I believe travelling is the best life experience to learn something new or different, not only to boost up communicative confidence but enrich my travelling life as well as expand my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for the experience to travel with people along with sharing travelling stories and life experience.

My first CS experience was in Milan (2018), Leone hosted me for two nights, we had a good time to chat. He was a good cook and i love the Italian spaghetti he made for me. He also let me taste the best Italian wine and the authentic local wine from Sicily, i have never been so welcomed. Unfortunately later he quit being a host of CS and so did my reference was being removed or hidden.

My second and third experience were in Taiwan and Philippines. I have met many people, not only my friendly and warm hosts, but they also brought me to meet their friends. I really enjoyed and grateful for their precious time to spend with me.

Afterward, pandemic hit us so I stopped travelling till now. I am back and I am going to explore northern europe. I hope to meet some nice people here who would like to host me a stay, talking and making a long term friend.

I would really like to host travellers in the future when i own a place, hopefully soon, I'm working it out and hope it is not taking too long.

Interests

Other than travelling, i love food and animals!
Food makes me happy and I think it is the only consumable art!
I love cooking (even though not that great), I would say I'm a beginner to cook Italian cuisine.
I would really love to learn making cuisine from different parts of world.
I go hiking a few times in a year, I can't wait to hike in Norway!
