Hello :) My name is Lia and i am a 23 year old student from Berlin, Germany. I am an opend minded person and i like exploring new countries and different cultures. I am going to be a primary school teacher after finishing university. I lived in New Zeland for half a year and did work&travel there. I traveled England for a month and studied in Switzerland for half a year as an Erasmus student. I have a younger sister and a younger brother. I do basketball and swimming. I really enjoy outside activities. I am also a vegan living person with great cooking skills. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way to get in touch with the locals of the area you are staying at. To me, meeting people from different places around the world is super interesting. I think we can all learn from each other and from different cultures. Also sharing your privat flat/house with another traveler for free is super generouse of this person and shows a great character.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like music from the 80s. And i adore Queen and their music style. My favourite movie is "Pride and Predjudice". I know, it is super romantic and cheesy, but i just really like it. I also really enjoy the BBC television show "Sherlock". I love reading all kind of books but mostly fantasy books. I also like old books like Dracula.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done was traveling to the other side of the world just by myself, 19 years old and with no idea what exactly to do there. The country i am talking about is New Zeland and it is literally exactly on the other side of the world from Germany. Today i think i was pretty brave and i got along there very well.

I really like baking and cooking. So i could teach you how to make a good german sourdough bread. I am also a passionate vegan living person, so i could show you some great and super deliciouse vegan recipies. :)
