Overview
About Me
If you take a big bowl and you add a little bit of civil engineering, with a cup of art plus some smiles, good faith and a pinch of theatricality you will make up Lia.
Still child, still playful :)
I love meeting people (yes, you too) and exchanging ideas. If you come to my place, i will guide you around (believe me, i have studied for that :P), share Greek stories and, also, try to make a place in your heart, just for Athens.
For the sake of yourself, your family, your friends and humanity, please, never forget 2 things:
1. Life is short (didn't drink enough milk when was young)
2. One of the more secure ways to happiness, is gratitude
(practice at least 5 "thank you"per day and you wont regret it #doclia)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, Architecture and Nature are wonderful!
However, a place is much more than that. For me, a place is mainly its people.
You may like a book, you may like a building or a piece of music. None of them would exist if there wasn't a human being to create it. So, how can you say that you travelled to a place, if you havent met the people "who made" it?
Couchsurfing is surely the way to it.
Besides, i am not a fan of canned, touristic travelling.
I am looking to something different, to something alternative, to something genuine.
Last, people that participate in Couchsurfing are so open minded, warm hearted and full with good faith (no, no... i am not flattering myself) so, who wouldn't like to meet them? :)
