About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to pursue whatever I want to or whatever makes me feel great :)
ABOUT ME
I really hate doing that - it's quite a difficult thing to describe oneself, 'cause that is changing all the time (hopefully).
I mean, e.g. there are times I really love to get to know people (esp. people from outside Austria, because the exchange is mostly as impressing as traveling), but there are also times I really enjoy being on my own and experience nature and the earth as a loner.
I believe you have to form your character and be stable in your innermost personality, until you are able to create really deep friendships and esp. relationships and therefore I believe it's as important to enjoy silence and soleness as to meet people and take part in the society.
This example describes my personality quite good - I'm most of the time something in between. I don't really like extremes, 'cause I believe each notion has its advantages and also disadvantages and mostly it's hard for me to come in on sb.'s side if there's a discussion, because I can understand both sides. That doesn't mean I don't have opinions or arguments, but I keep in mind, that these opinions aren't stable and that they can be changed as well.
PHILOSOPHY
at the moment: regarding life as an adventure and enjoying the adrenalin-kick it gives me rather than being afraid of it
Interests
Travelling :), surfing, hiking, sewing, riding collapsible and general old-school-bikes, portrait painting (you can also have a look on my website: www.julia-moser.com ), designing, visiting flea markets etc.
(Actually I'm interested in all kinds of things. If there's something I haven't done yet you can be sure I will if there's the opportunity or if my CS-host suggests it - except scrabbling through a room full of snakes)
- traveling
- socializing
- painting
- hiking
- surfing
Music, Movies, and Books
books:
The Witch of Portobello - Paulo Coelho
The Alchimist - Paulo Coelho
The Zahir - Paulo Coelho
(...ahm, no I didn't only read Coelho's books, or did I? NO, somehow Coelho's books are quite inspiring and profound, so that I can't really remember a lot of other books.)
But there are other books worth reading:
e.g. The Why Are You Here Cafe - John P. Strelecky, Die Älteste - Thomas Sautner or the Art of Stillness - Pico Iyer (others will follow as soon as my mind doesn't feel like a sieve any more)
films:
The Intouchables
The fabulous life of Amelie Poulin
The brothers Bloom
Coco Chanel
Chocolat
The Kite Runner
Conviction
La Vita è Bella
Memento
The Sting
Into The Wild
Hamam
...
music:
Well, I'm listening to quite different genres of music and I wouldn't say that there are music genres that are unworthy to be listened to - music always depends on your mood.
So at the moment there are two wonderful lmusicians/groups following me, after I got to know them on a beautiful handpan gathering:
1. Matsumoto Zoku
2. Benny Bettane
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
