I'm in Toronto by way of Rhode Island and Halifax for long stretches, Kathmandu for a medium stretch, and many other places for very short lovely stretches.

I work in a tech nonprofit, have a background in urban planning and education, and like to simultaneously take things as easy as possible and do everything. I enjoy cooking, eating, exploring new (and old) places, playing basketball, watching baseball, and sitting in the sun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has enabled so many wonderful experiences for me. During times of my life that didn't include much travel of my own, I've loved traveling vicariously through people who stayed with me. And when I was traveling myself, I've enjoyed seeing places through the eyes of people who know the ins and outs.

Thanks to Couchsurfing I've eaten some of the most delicious chocolate of my life from Germany, seen 4th of July fireworks from a Manhattan roof, frolicked in an Annapolis Valley apple orchard, made a lasting friend in Edinburgh, and seen my own city through new eyes.
