About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see and learn everything.

ABOUT ME

I'm generally found with my nose in a book, planning a snowboarding or backpacking trip, drinking wine, falling over in yoga class, teaching people how to find groundwater with well logging equipment, speaking Spanish with my husband, traveling to another country, or playing with my coonhound pup. I love learning everything down to the language and detailed history of everywhere I go as well as meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I find that everything works out as long as I don't panic and have some patience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of the more interesting couchsurfing experiences I've had was staying the night in a hammock at a Hare Krishna Organic Farm VERY far off the beaten track in the Ecuadorian rain forest. Thank you Patrik and Finca Vrindavan for showing me a different side of Ecuador!

Interests

Snow, mountains, history, languages, mexican food, snowboarding, bourbon, microbrews, zuidhout tea, physics, the economist obits, backpacking, sushi, archaeology, real estate investing, geology, understanding people vastly different from myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many books to list here, but if you visit my place, you'll see the obsession first hand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a 2 and a half week road trip from Denver, CO to Mexico City across to San Blas on the Pacific and then back up through the Sierra Madre Occidental on mostly back roads with my best friend and two Dutch guys.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Kindness, a local's perspective, and a comfy couch.
