Overview
About Me
I'm a full-time student who loves studying Japanese and moving on to Vet Science next year. I love a good movie/book/tv show and enjoy playing video games. Have been playing hockey for years now and love it to bits. I live in a dormitory during the semester but move back to live with my brothers during off semester. I have the most adorable dog named Dougall, he is a Golden Labrador and is enormous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During the Summer (when I don't have University) I want to go travelling particularly to Japan, I love it to bits. I am hoping to find some locals in the Kyoto and Osaka (potentially even the Nagoya) area to take me in and to show me around.
Music, Movies, and Books
Love all sorts of music, have headphones in more than not.
My favourite book of all time has to be The Martian, absolutely incredible book. Favourite movies are Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Interstellar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done was my brief study exchange to Japan in 2015. It was the most incredible experience of my life and really has sparked my desire to go again. I absolutely loved the people and culture of Japan and could not get enough of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am fluent at playing drums, and several brass instruments.
Currently studying Japanese and would be happy to help teach people English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It will sound cliche, but the thing I can offer the most is friendship and gratitude. I can share many stories about the college lifestyle and my mishaps. I can introduce my host to new music and play music for them. And of course lots of laughs.
Countries I’ve Visited
