Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my friends and colleagues here in Warsaw have really recommended couchsurfing as a way to explore and experience cities so I'm excited to try it out and see what it has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Current favourite band is Brockhampton, I like all kinds of movies from critically acclaimed to awful stoner comedies. I also like terrible sci fi and fantasy books and games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed the Snowdon horseshoe (including crib goch) in Wales and Mount Kinabalu in Borneo. I've been a journalist at two film festivals so far (one small and one international) and I hope to go to more in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a native English teacher and can also teach some basic Welsh and Scots, I have been playing acoustic guitar for 8 years and can teach some basic skills but not very much as I'm out of practice haha. I'm keen to learn or improve my languages and I'm also currently studying bachata dancing so any tips would be brilliant! I also love cooking and have been practicing improving my Italian and Chinese regional cooking techniques.
