I am a queer and trans person who enjoys attending Burning Man events, festivals, silly fun dress up nights or just quiet hang outs over a beer or two. I'm pretty easy going and up for adventures, exploration and making new friends along the way.

I enjoy swimming, art, reading and love being in nature. The great outdoors soothes my soul. As a current London dweller, I don't often get enough of it.

I have just designed the lighting for my first professional theatre show, which I'm quite proud of. I've been spending quite a bit of my time learning these new skills and putting on shows recently.

I spend the rest of my time socialising and hanging out on the queer and alternative scenes, going to play parties like Kinky Salon London and Sparkle Hard, nights out like Rumpus and Bar Wotever, dabbling in hedonistic ways, finding excuses to be naked (only with consent) and promoting the body and sex positive revolution.. ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am looking to expand my travel adventures, meet new people and experience towns/cities from a more local perspective. Stereotypical touristy things often don't grab my attention for too long. I'm more interested in that hideaway/hidden treasure or just your local that you take for granted. :) I am quite easily pleased and I am good at entertaining myself too.

Intereses

I am interested in exploring, snowboarding and any activity that is going to get my adrenaline going, watching performances/theatre, going for walks or hikes, discussions around gender and sexuality, swimming, reading, finding out about other people's lives, music, dancing and festivals, art and being creative.

Books - I like fantasy/thrillers/crime/horror/dystopian/utopian/alternative reality type books.

Movies - Labyrinth, Pay It Forward, LOTR, Harry Potter, Fight Club, Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, American History X, Death To Smootchie, I Am Sam, Battle Royale, World Cinema and Studio Ghibli films, Barton Fink and other films by the Coen brothers..

Shows - CSI, Criminal Minds, Firefly, Lexx, Queer as Folk (US), Green Wing, Coupling, House, Orange is the New Black, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, Gotham, Forever, Lucifer and The Golden Girls..

Music - Pretty much anything. I was a grunge/alternative teenager but like music from most genres. I can't resist good dance music when out clubbing, especially enjoy dancing to electro swing and folky/festivally bands. If I had to name a favourite band, I would probably say Fleetwood Mac.
