About Me

I'm a 33 year old rapper, producer and so music is definitely my main passion. I make hip-hop and bass music and rap with an Afro-Jazz-Rap band called Black Jesus Experience (BJX). I'm super chilled and love traveling to foreign lands and connecting with locals and exploring new landscapes. Im half Zimbabwean and half Anglo-Australian and grew up in a small town in the Northern Territory so I appreciate the city buzz but love the wilderness as well. I've been lucky enough to travel with the band to play in Germany, Switzerland, England (at Glastonbury Festival), and Ethiopia twice. I love sharing my music and words with different people, music is the universal language! Being a Sagittarius I have a great deal of wanderlust and enjoy traveling and experiencing all the unique sights, sounds, and flavours of the world. I'm lucky enough to live in Melbourne which is very multicultural so I get a taste of these things even when I'm local. I work with young people doing hip-hop workshops - writing songs and making beats together. I find this is a great way for young people to express themselves and music is a great tool for self-empowerment and pride.
