Hello! I am a life-long traveler who loves to explore new places and meet new people everywhere I go. I'm presently living in Cairo, Egypt, studying Arabic and pursuing my career in International Relations and Humanitarian Aid. I'm excited to discover all of the beautiful things that Egypt and the other countries in the region have to offer.

I believe that the soul of any place lies within the words, deeds, and interactions of its people, and that the only way to truly understand somewhere new is by spending quality time with new friends. Whether it's going on a big adventure together or simply hanging out and drinking tea, I think the best experiences come from spending time with and listening to the stories of others.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I worked at a forest fire lookout tower in northern Canada for two summers, living in solitude in a cabin in the woods for 5 months straight, watching for forest fires all day and making art and playing music at night. It was the most beautiful and most intense job that I've ever had.

I love to teach and share my passion for music, the arts, and language. I have a degree in Communications and Digital Design, and I love to discuss ideas around communication, culture, and human nature in all of its shapes and forms.

I am interested in learning about the local languages, history, and culture of everywhere I go, but I am most interested in learning about the lives and ideas of the people who I meet. I'm always fascinated to hear peoples stories and their perspectives on life.

Mostly stories, jokes, and laughter!

But I also love to cook with or for people (I believe that sharing food is one of the most important things we can do with others), and I am always happy to help hosts with any chores, responsibilities, and errands that they may have to do to maintain their households.

I've also been told I'm pretty good company, so I like to believe this is true, hahah :)
