About Me

Surfing is my passion. I long to work remotely around the world from my laptop as a software dev, checking out all of the best beaches in the world! When I'm not at the beach I'm a philosophy nerd (particularly Eastern philosophy), swing dancer and generally after a bit of fun. I love to live authentically and true to my self expression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people, but I particularly like wider perspective and thoughtfulness. Travellers tend to have a better sense of the world, and are generally more interesting people because of this! So i'm hoping to share some conversations and experiences with people from anywhere in the world, wherever I am :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

I'm all over the place. Most of my music falls into classical piano and indie rock/folk, however, there are bizarre exceptions

Movies:

My most recent favourites are Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Captain Fantastic. I'm also a sucker for Interstellar.

Books:

If non-fiction, anything with deep philosophical concepts and challenges my current belief system. If fiction, I love amazing character chemistry and relatable character journeys. My favourite series is The King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkelling a few metres away from a wild manta ray in Indonesia
