Hello fellow travelers! My name is Liam Walton, I am 19 years old and from Boulder, Colorado. I have grown up in Boulder my entire life and there's a reason why, it is perfect for me at this point and time in my life. I am beginning my first huge phases of life and starting to explore beyond the horizons. Some things about me are I love the outdoors (hence living here as long as I have) and I also love sports and video games. My favorite sports are Soccer, Football, Basketball and Ultimate Frisbee.

I went to Boulder High School for my freshman year because that is where my brother and sister went to school. My brother is 24 and my sister is 26. But eventually after my freshman year I decided it was not working for me. My grades were not doing very well and I was basically invisible because of the amount of kids in this school. So I decided to change schools and finish my high school career at New Vista High School. It's a very small school but that's exactly what I needed. I began to thrive in this school because I could get the help I needed whether it was homework or even a simple question in class that wasn't able to be answered in class at Boulder High due to the class sizes. Going to New Vista was probably the greatest life investment I have done so far in my life. During my senior year, seniors are required to do a year long project called a "Culminating Project" after a few months (and wasted time during those months) I finally figured out what I wanted my project to focus on. I decided to make a documentary about how climate change is effecting the ski industry. The documentary turned out really well and eventually got accepted into a film festival called "The Vail Film Symposium". I graduated in May of 2017 and am taking a gap year and decided it's time for me to travel and explore the world. I ALSO LOVE FOOD! I enjoy cooking as well however I'm not very good. Maybe on these Couchsurfing endeavors this is where I will learn!

I am on Couchsurfing because I decided it is time for me to grow as a person and explore the world. People say travel is the best education and I, even without really traveling before already believe them!

Interests

My interests are sports, movies (comedies, dramas, action but not horror I just don't see the appeal to them! I guess some people like to be scared but not this guy. Another one is food. Food is amazing.

I love music and can really listen to almost anything. I love movies as well hence the making of a documentary. And I don't read very often even though I probably should.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Things I can share with hosts is my work ethic! If they need anything done around the house I am more than willing to help out. I can also share skills I have like throwing a frisbee or even helping out editing a video using Adobe Premier Pro. Unfortunately I don't have tons of stories because I have been in Boulder my whole life and I really want to change that.
