Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the most of life with the world as a playground
ABOUT ME
Tough to talk about yourself isn't it?!
Easy going, love meeting new people and experiencing new things. Always up for a laugh
I got the travel bug bite when I backpacked Europe for 2 months in 2009. Since then my life hasn't been the same.
I needed more of it so I packed up and travelled for a year in 2010.
This experience put a few things into perspective for me so now I try to tackle life head on while also keeping things at a laid back pace.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be yourself; everyone else is taken"
"The greatest risk in life is not taking one"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Was introduced to couchsurfing by people I met while staying in hostels on my Euro trip. Since late 2010 I have surfed with some great hosts in Germany, Denmark, Holland, UK, Ireland and the USA.
Now I'm trying my best to make sure anybody who stays with me gets a good idea of what Melbourne is all about
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After doing so much travel from hostel to hostel in the Middle East and Europe I started to feel I was enjoying cities more for the people I met than the sites to see. Every couchsurfing experience I have had has been great and has allowed me to develop friendships and memories I'll hold forever. Whether it be in a massive city like Berlin or a small town in the USA, couchsurfing has taken me to some great places and more importantly, great people.

Books - I've only really been reading in my own time for a couple of years now so I'm still trying to plow through all the classics
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I know this may sound pretty touristy to some but running with the bulls in Pamplona was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The buzz I got from that is still with me now
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook a Parma (Melb's no. 1 pub meal)
Would love to learn a crazy instrument or another language.
Always keen to share a bottle of wine
