ABOUT ME

I listen, feel, play, laugh and am usually smiling a real smile! I'm always trying to understand and enjoy the world around me and the people that populate it.
Big, big fan of the outdoors: trail running, mountain and road biking, rock climbing, cross country skiing... lately I've gotten into ultrarunning, which means everyone thinks I'm crazy, and I get to spend A LOT of time by myself on the trails - pros and cons ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've really only had the opportunity to surf a few times and it's been a few years since I last "surfed". It's been great, and when I'm more settled I can't wait to host people!

Interests

On the one hand...

I love spending time with good people, eating great veg. food, sharing, laughing, reading, writing, taking photographs

On the other... I need to be outside
I love the feeling I get when I push my body to the limit - running, cross country skiing, cycling, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing - This is where I feel most alive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been absurdly privileged to do a lot of AMAZING things in my life - it's almost embarrassing! I think the craziest is still a sailing trip I did around the southern tip of South America and into the fjords of Chilean Patagonia - that was in 2010...so long ago
