ABOUT ME

I've lived what I consider to be a relatively pointless life. I hold no judgments towards relatively pointless lives, except that in my case, I did not enjoy my relatively pointless life up until now. So, I am now attempting to do the one thing that I have always enjoyed with zero misgivings: travel. I am jealous of international travelers and I plan on becoming one.

As long as I am living in one place and have a couch available, I will welcome anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. Only friends who have raved about it.

Interessen

Reading. A lot. Vonnegut, Richler, Kertesz, Borges, Szep, Orkeny, Watterson, Adams, Fitzgerald, Twain, Poe, London, Joyce--but not for the reasons you might--, Tolkien--a holdover from my youth--, Thompson, Orwell, Nabokov, Berton, Hesse--cliche but some good stuff--, Pelletier, etc.
Religion. I don't practice, but I enjoy discussing organized religion--especially Christianity--, spirituality, the divine, etc. Increasingly agnostic and frustrated with the crimes of the church, I love discussing it nonetheless.
Travel. Evidently.
Conversation. A great conversation is better than almost anything.
Walking. Simply walking.
Hiking. Walking kicked up a notch.
