About Me
ABOUT ME
To use a number of clichés, I'm laid-back and not too much hassle. I love to travel and I love to get to know new folks, hence why I have this account. As such, I'm more than happy to put up fellow travellers I see a little bit of myself in. Very interested in pop-culture but also in hearing what makes other people tick in the different areas I visit. Most importantly, I'm always down for a decent conversation with a wide variety of different people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just got done travelling North America, an expedition that this site definitely improved. Right now I live in Glasgow for University and all are welcome within reason.
Interests
I was recently and writing for The Reykjavík Grapevine in, you guessed it, Reykjavík. I've written for a whole bunch of publications, most recently BeatRoute. Other than that, I enjoy travelling, hence why I'm here in the first place. Big music fan, and as previously stated, I'm very interested in hearing brand new, local music and seeing local shows wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everyone says that, but I do mean that. Old favourites are Animal Collective, Björk, Django Reinhardt, De La Soul, Little Brother, The Strauss Family and Efterklang.
My favourite director of all time is Kubrick and I have a big soft spot for David Lynch, Wes Anderson (Sorry), Harmony Korine and others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once climbed this mountain, Súlur, in the Norðurland Eyrar area of Iceland. Not an especially difficult climb (though it did take forever to climb) but the view was incredible. I'll never forget it as long as I live. That's beat out a whole bunch of mountains such as a few in the rockies and Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm honestly more interested in the exchange of experiences and interests. I love hearing what makes people tick and what their life stories have consisted of. Learning from what people tell me: I'm about that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from a lot of stories, I'm 100% more than happy buy food and drink and pay any other reasonable costs involved with me staying. I'm more than happy to help around the house and do other stuff to help hosts out in whatever way I can. I always appreciate someone putting me up for a night or two so honestly anything goes so long as it's reasonable.
