I'm currently on a year long adventure travelling through Italy, learning the language, soaking up all the history and culture and volunteering on farms along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've come to couch surfing so that I can travel like a local. Mainstream accommodation doesn't allow me to find that hidden pub, or the restaurant serving local food to local people. When I'm in a new place I want experience the authenticity of the place, and I hope I can do the same for fellow travellers.

Hiking to the top of a volcano in Indonesia and then refreshing my aching body under a hot waterfall!

I really enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, climbing, surfing... Generally being active. I enjoying exploring new cuisines and love cooking different types of food.
