ABOUT ME

Hello There!
I'm 23 years old, originally from Oxford, United Kingdom. Now living in Melbourne Aus with my boyfriend (mike) who's from Thailand. I finished a diploma in Travel and Tourism in the UK four years ago and haven't stopped travelling since! Experiencing new cultures, trying new foods, learning new languages, and seeing as many amazing sights as possible. Since leaving England I have been all over South East Asia, meeting many great couchsurfers and having the best time of my life.

After Asia I moved to Australia, here I settled in Melbourne whilst traveling other parts of the huge country!! Now I'm on my second year here and studying business. Me and my boyfriend met in Melbourne and now live together. He is also obsessed with traveling, and his big passion is food, movies, and art; in particular animation. We both Love to host people as well as travel and stay with other couchsurfers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined couchsurfing to use it whilst travelling parts of Asia. I wanted to get the result experience of what it was like to live in these countries, and not to just stay with other travellers. I wanted to taste the real food, and enjoy the real culture. And since using it for several months. I now think it's time to give something back, and give people the same great experience I had :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After desperately wanting to stay in Thailand, and leaving it until a few days before my visa ran out. I was meant to be returning home to England to study at university, but no.... Instead I book a flight to melbourne and luckily I meet mike on the second night, and the great thing was he is from Thailand. Hopefully one day I can live there as its my favourite country in the world. I like the friendly people, amazing food, relaxed cultures, diversity and the animals! 🐒🐘
