Every day is the chance to learn or try something new. Eat food to make me feel good and make meditation part of every day. Nature is the playground, and I strive to spend as much time outside as possible. If there's water nearby I'm in it or on it ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The more couchsurfers in my home in Ithaca, the better!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couchsurfer was a high energy Australian woman about 25 who shared her love of Vegemite and got me stoked on it too. She encouraged me to travel to Australia and it was great :)

Interessi

Ocean Tribe! I run and swim heaps-my body likes to move. Forest runs are the all time favorite...and dancing too! Longboard skating is the closest thing to surfing on land (and a great way to both get around town (and go fast down hills!)) I also love skiing and rock climbing, fishing and scuba diving.

Music is a part of every day. Jazz, cuban and brazilian music, funk, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, hip hop and some electronic music: I'm DOWN. I goof around on tenor sax, bass, guitar, drum kit, conga, piano, harmonica...many different ways to groove!

Worked with leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica changed my life by getting me into marine biology

Sperm whales are thought to stun their prey (squid) with an a blast of echolocation and then ingest them by withdrawing their tongue rapidly into their mouth so rapidly that a vortex of water is created!
