I am Liana, I’m easygoing, I love meeting new people and discovering how they look at life :)

I am curious about everything, especially culture and people. I like to hear about local traditions and life stories, ancient beliefs and different realities. I would like to learn as much as I can from people who has different cultures on Earth.
I am really sociable and talkative. I love to try new stuffs, I never regret it.

I stand for humanitarian values and I build my reality around these values. I open my mind a bit more with each travel, and find out every time there is always some work left to do!

About my life, I don’t really know what I want to do with it yet but I’m sure I want to do my best to make this world better regarding to the environment and to social issues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a very unique way to travel, that has nothing to do with hotels, hostels or Airbnb. From my experiences it is truly enriching and now when I am not couchsurfing I feel like I am missing the big part of the place I am in. Since I am a very sociable person, I also love to get to know new people, to share experiences and views.

Interests

I love to look at the stars in the sky at night, to hike to see landscapes, to look at the fishes under the sea while swimming, even though I swim very slowly but I can dive not too bad, maybe that can counterbalance. I also enjoy tasting traditional dishes and beverages because I heard that I needed to eat and to drink to survive, so let’s eat and drink good stuffs!

I also like evenings spent to talk about more or less interesting things, sitting in a bar or at a random place, or walking until I get lost (which I do really easily since I have a very bad sense of direction, but the good thing is the more I get lost the more I can get lost in some conversations :). I also really like to dance and to listen to new musics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to pretty much every kind of music. Here are a few names: Twenty One Pilots, Imany, Jacob Collier, Gaël Faye, La Femme, Tim Dup. But most important, I am always looking for new musics to listen to!

Movies: Miyazaki movies, movies that teaches you something or that turn your brain upside down

I like to read to feed my brain with information and stories but here are some inspiration books: My life on the road by Gloria Steinem, Aller avec la chance by Iliana Teodorescu, Utopia for Realists by Rutger Bregman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having the chance to travel, to meet different people, to live in different cultures.
Traveling through Europe by train, going from Paris to Istanbul hitchhiking and couchsurfing, spending a semester studying in Phnom Penh.
