About Me

Hey there!

I'm Liane, a medical engineering student from Stuttgart, Germany. I'm currently working on my master thesis and am about to graduate in a couple of months.

After I finished my Bachelor's, I went off to travel in Asia for five months. I visited Nepal, Vietnam, Bali, the Philippines, China and Japan. I really enjoyed travelling, as you always meet inspiring people, see gorgeous nature and simply can be free and happy.

During my masters, I spent one semester in Taiwan for a research project. I loved it and I can't wait to go out again and see more!

I´d describe myself as cheerful and open- I love meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying with people from the country you travel in creates a sustainable experience, as it gives a better understanding and it's basically more fun. So far, I have been surprised by the kindness of couchsurf members over and over again. Once I get to have my own apartment, I'd like to close the circle and host too :)

Interests

I love all kinds of boards, but unfortunately I am not a pro in any of them. Still learning! Also, I'm into swimming, bouldering and Calesthenics.

I play the piano since I was 5 years old and I´m still into it. I can also play a bit of guitar and cajon- making and listening to music just makes me happy

I do love cooking, even more when I cook for many people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
