ABOUT US

Liane is someone that has a total zest for life. She loves exploring the world, and learning new things. Her community of friends and family are really important to her and she really enjoys helping people through her work or through her side business as a personal trainer.

Clayton is slightly more reserved in character but loves meeting people and learning about new worlds. As a documentary filmmaker, Clayton enjoys pushing himself outside of his comfort zone, and understanding culture and society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of travelling is meeting new people. We'd like to see how people live in Japan and Vietnam, and share our travelling experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Liane: Learned how to rock climb with some Thai locals in Southern Thailand. Partaking in a pirate weekend with twenty five friends dressed in pirate gear and seeking pirate bounty. Arriving in Toronto after completing my bus journey from Vancouver. Cycling from the Oregon Coast to San Francisco with two of my best friends.

Clayton: Left my corporate job to start my own business several years ago. Had the opportunity to direct a video shoot with our country's Prime Minister. Bought a new bike which I'm slowly using more than my car. Learned how to box and spar. Ran a marathon.
