Hi I'm Lianne!

In May this year I had my final exams, which I finished successfully. So after being at school for a very long time, my long awaited year off can finally start !!
I am taking this year off, because I have always wanted to travel for a long period of time, but I haven´t had the time to do so, due to school and other liabilities.

My plan is to go backpacking in Laos , Thailand and New Sealand from January to April this year . But besides to this plan (plus working and sporting ) l also have plans to go hitchhiking through Europe for thee weeks.
Well, certainly I shall not be bored this year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, do new things, learn about local customs, have a nice experience, travel in a new way and discover new places!

Interests

I play volleyball five times a week, I have two jobs at two supermarkets, a play the guitar (don´t expect too much), I often go to festivals (where we have a lot of in Holland) and I like to be with my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My mom has lived in Kenya, about 25 years ago. When I was ten, we went back there to visit the people she had met those years ago. We went searching for them in the slums and found them between the more than 2 million people that are living there. It was a great experience that I will never forget!
