ABOUT ME

Having heard all about couchsurfing through my couch-hopping-loving friends, i've realised its a beautiful way to meet new people, experience new places and bring everyone a little bit more together.

I've fallen in love with travelling and finding new places, people and fun things to do. It seems hard to imagine staying in one place for too long. In the past few years (thanks to lots of friend-shaped influences) i can't seem to imagine a new expedition that requires loads of money. Although this runs the risk of having to put your tent up on the side of the motorway, or being stuck in a train station in the middle of nowhere- it also creates much more real, exciting and unforgettable memories.

Spending lots of time volunteering to teach english to refugees, and new-comers to England im excited to go away andteach english in Portugal, Morocco and then wherever is next on the cards. I have an ever growing desire to try and help others make the world a better place, or at least avoid aspects of it that make it definitely worse and through that love the idea of meeting people from all different walks of life.

PHILOSOPHY

To me, Focussing on being happy, and essentially helping people and doing what you can to make things better should be of upmost important. Theres too much unhappiness around us right now to turn our heads

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Spending the holi festival in Chitwan, Nepal with children from the orphanage playing with colour all day!!

-Thai new year- 3 day water festival and too much thai whiskey!!

Both showed me how much the world has to offer, and how welcoming and beautiful people are

Teach, Learn, Share

Excited at the idea of helping those out with english! I'm pretty blessed with the scruffy bunch of friends i've acquired and their skills in almost everything you can imagine. If they're around, they'll be so excited to help with anything you'd be spoilt for choice!
