About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living a more connected existence. Meet more people, see more places, learn about myself.
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop learning. And if it doesn't scare you a little, than it's probably not worth doing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A few years back I couchsurfed on a weeklong roadtrip to Seattle and had great experiences with 4 different hosts. Then I traveled south to California and back across the country over a week and surfed with 3 more people. Every host made the stop in that town better. There were things I never would have done or seen had I not stayed with another couchsurfer!
I have since had two opportunities to host in Eau Claire and each have been great. EC is a great place to stop!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
WOW! I heart couchsurfing. I have met so many great people. I was so inspired by the people I met and I look forward to hosting more. I can't imagine traveling any other way!

Music, Movies, and Books
Not really into TV or Movies, but I love music, especially seeing live music. Favorite performer is Brandi Carlile, never pass up a chance to see her band live.
I love to read, mainly non-fiction, but I am a big John Irving fan. Favorite book is Widow For One Year. I like that his books cover long periods of time during which you really come to know the characters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Impossible to narrow it down to just one: Boating on Loch Ness in Scotland, meeting East Germans in Koln, Germany the week after the Berlin Wall fell, being at the Eiffel Tower at New Year's, seeing Brandi Carlile play live with the Seattle Symphony, seeing Ian McKellan in Othello at the Old Vic, these are a few of my favorite things ;)
