ABOUT ME

I joined couchsurfing when I was living in the Netherlands as an aupair. I used it quite a bit when I was traveling Europe. Since being back in the United States, I haven't been very active, but looking to start meeting up again and hearing about people's travels.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in Europe, I was couchsurfing all the time, going to events, and meeting up with people I had met at hostels along the way. Although I can't host, I'm still excited to meet people from other countries and places in the U.S. - I love having an excuse to go visit new friends in a foreign land I've never been.
I'm starting my travels around the U.S. now and I can't wait to see what this great country has to offer.

Movies: Princess Bride, Little Mermaid, Singing in the Rain
It's not a movie, but it should be noted that Arrested Development is possibly the greatest form of long form improv ever. I'm in love with almost all forms of tv and have watched several old school shows from start to finish. Netflix is dangerous.

Music: I like most stuff from classic rock, to musicals, to comedy tracks, to a good jazz singer (Etta James being my favorite) But if you put on Lady Gaga, I will probably love you forever, and I ask you not to judge me on that fact.

Books: Princess Bride, Great Gatsby, Shopaholc Series, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. This year I'm challenging myself to read a book a week - one from each U.S. State (with two weeks to spare.)

In 2002, I ran with the Olympic Torch for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
Once I wrote a rap about being a bear...I could tell you it was amazing, but I don't actually remember most of the words.
