About Me

ABOUT ME

In terms of my personality, I'm pretty easy-going, talkative and witty. I can be quite sarcastic at times and I'm also quite whimsical and random at times. I enjoy the arts scene - a little obsessed with Scandinavian + Icelandic music as well as their culture, language and way of life. I enjoy people who are open-minded, interesting, enjoy going out, traveling, expanding their horizons and going to a gig (or ten).

PHILOSOPHY

My current philosophy is to say yes to everything (within reason) and to do things now, rather than wait till you're old and can actually afford it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never Couchsurfed before (hosted or surfed), but i definitely would like to host in the futur when i am able to. At the moment i am looking for a host who can offer me a couch in Reykjavik!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing, so please be nice!

Interests

I'm a little obsessed with music, love going out and to gigs. I also enjoy sitting at cafes and discovering new places in Sydney to have a coffee or drink or two, read a book and just enjoy the weekend. I tend to go to a lot of gigs when any good bands actually make the voyage out to Australia!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of the amazing things i have seen were when I was overseas, I definitely loved discovering the world on my own when i lived in Europe last year, particularly Sweden and Denmark. I think a lot of perspective also comes when you've left your hometown and come back to it and see it as something completely different, that in itself is truly amazing. After coming back from having lived overseas, I totally saw Sydney in a different light and became a tourist in my own city again. I'd like to extend on these experiences by travelling to Iceland, Norway and Finland and seeing a truly interesting side of the world that is a bit undiscovered.
