About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To encourage travellers to have a meaningful experience when they visit New Zealand by meeting real New Zealanders and enjoying a slice of kiwi life.

ABOUT ME

Thoughtful, Converse about books, global issues and politics, life and nature, relationships, music, and any thing else that comes up.
Deep urge within for adventure, so I may live it vicariously through couchsurfers! One day however, I'll be out there, just waiting for the right moment.

I love walking in the forest and varying speeds, collecting things to eat that are free for the plucking, going on missions, or just going.

PHILOSOPHY

you have to put into it whatever it is you want to get out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Interestedly, in groups such as kill your tv, urban gardening, single parents travel, family group, freeman on the land, de-growth, agroecology. Lets get talkin...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After many hosting experiences, I have found that biggest faux pas of the couchsurfer is: Leaving lights on, putting cans and glass in rubbish, leave your rubbish behind (it costs to dispose), leaving oven elements on, misanticipating time back, ignoring children, not staying long enough.
It is great if a surfer is genuinely interested in getting to know the host. Tips, bring an instrument, books to exchange, maps, breakfast cereal.
I look forward to being a conscientouss couchsurfer. I prefer to host mainly people who are looking for more than a free shower (which i dont have anyway) So if you got this far please mention the work Antarctica in your request :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seething masses of humanity...

Teach, Learn, Share

What a great category!
There is something you can do that I do not know how to do.

I can teach some language.
I can help you understand why suddenly your eyes are open and your whole life you have been asleep. Or how to open your eyes.

I want some of your language, music skills, recipes, specialised knowledge, philosophical viewpoints, names of books you have read, plant knowledge, documentary titles, sport skills, eskimo rolls, pilates routines, biological and nutritional knowledge, views on sexuality and love, best ways to do things for free.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Honduras, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
