ABOUT ME

I always find myself wanting to spend time with children or exposed to the peace of landscapes untouched by humans: nature! Or with any people that always tell€ the truth (not as the opposite to lying but as transparence) with their actions, that is sharing fascination for the world, looking in each other's eyes, feeling humble towards anyone or anything: a tree, the ocean..! No fear! Thats why I also love listening to/writing/documenting “stories” with my camera or pen: portraits, people while they create expressions, like music, images, laugh, spaces. Things that feel pure, simple, true! :)

I believe that respect is a form of care and a form of love, maybe the consciousness of yourself in the whole: when you understand yourself in the same way you understand a flower. Then you can only feel empathy!

Happiness to me is the repeated experience of feeling free, and freedom I like to see as 1) the frequent multiplication of love! and 2)kindness and generosity at the base of perception, a filter for everything you feel, think, do. And all of this I have found in CouchSurfing!

Right now Im writing my thesis for Latin American Studies, working as a Spanish teacher and writing stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting: right now I'm waiting to settle down a little bit to be able to host again! :)
Surfing: recently I have traveled around in Colombia and Ecuador, being hosted by all kind of beautiful people. The magic of feeling how a person lets you in and shares herself, over and over again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled in places I could not have imagined, I have met other people through CouchSurfers (and also animals) and learned new words, found new books, listened to new music, tasted new flavours and discovered little and big secrets. Thank you CS!

Oh this is so much fun to talk in person! Let's meet! In general I like expressions that transmit any kind of wisdom: music, literature, film (a lot!). Dont like music that reproduces stereotypes though, like sexism or racism (reggaetón and hip-hop tends to do that).

*A couple of Golden Swedish dragonflies!
*Visiting my granny's hometown and seeing the roses that my great grandfather planted and took care of.
*Swimming with fish in the Caribbean Sea.
*Meeting Noel Olaya who speaks 16 languages and gave the word "word" in many of them!
*Furbino Fralundio.

I have a lot more to learn than to teach. But...I can teach you how to speak like a Cuban! The Cuban Spanish is very bad, we dont pronounce half the sentence.
I can share everything, gladly my friendship and hugs. Hugs rock. I can share sharing! :)
Learning languages is what I love the most, and I have a little tradition that every time I meet a person that speaks a new language for me, I ask for the word "word" in her/his language.
