HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i partecipate using CS not just 'cause it's the cheapest way to travel, but because it's a wonderful chance for exchanging experiences, ideas, and different way of seeing the world with people from all over the word!!

i looooooove travelling!!! wait, this is not surpricing at all, i suppose... ok, from the biginning:
am i a paiter? sometimes. am i poet? someone says so. am i a musician? i'm trying to improve with my guitar...
i'm interested in whatever helps me to express myself. actually i'm also interested in whatever makes me feel good!!
That's why I'm learning the basics for travelling by sailingboat, and i love it so much!!
And I'm also improoving in dancing lindy hop on the magical musical notes of swing!!!

i like good music, mostly 60s&70s music.. such as the beatles, david bowie, pink floyd, queen, rolling stones, talking heads, the beachboys, cat stevens, lou reed, ray cooder. Swing and Jazz in general. Music from the world: France: Brassens, les negresses vertes, la rue ketanou; Andes: Intillimani; Greece: Theodorakis; others and of course neapolitan folck music.
Some of the movies i really enjoyed are: into the wild, someone flew over the cukoo's nest, modern times (that was really funny!!), the fox and the child, west beyrout, al manara, i diari della motocicletta, Tony Gatlif's films and others
books?? ..i recently rediscovered the pleasure of reading!! and i really loved some arabic writers such as Kahlil Gibran, Naghib Mahfuz, Khassan Kanafani, and more in general Baricco's, Bach's, Jimenez's and Twain's poetic words. The last boock i red Rafila by Elisabetta Donizelli was unforgiveble. I also like stories about people's travel, by bike, by sailing boat, ecc

That was really amazing:
riding a camel through the desert, while the sun was going down, hiding itself behind the last dune. seeing a shouting star and wishing a thousand of that days, the ones where Life reveals you her secret: how wonderful it can be being on this earth. then listening to the Sound of Silence and falling asleep under a star-carpet. feeling so small compared to all that, as small as a grain of the desert-sand.... but, doesn't the desert need all its little grains of sand to be so great? at the same way, each one of us -little human beings- is part of the infinite universe.
