People really should learn more about good forestry. It's gotten a bad rap because a lot of people think of it as glorified logging, when in reality, active forestry management is the key to maintaining healthy forests for recreation, harvesting, or wildlife habitat (with forestry, all 3 can be accomplished in one forest stand!).
