ABOUT ME
I want to travel the world before I die and meet many interesting characters along the way. I recently got home from living 9 months in northern Italy.I was born with a disposition to enjoy nearly anyone's company. I've had immense amounts of fun and learned quite a bit from bums, business men, cooks, bar owners, political activists, the occasional academic, and random strangers on my travels over the years.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was treated very kindly by the couchsurfing community all over Europe and now that I'm back home in the states I plan on trying to host or surf around my own neck of the woods.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I once traveled to Mexico with a person I previously met on a road trip at the Grand Canyon. After spending a perfect day on the beach getting some sun we came back to the car only to realize it was no longer there. After a day spent in the police station (where they had a total of 2 computers from circa 1992) they wrote our case down in a big notebook which was then put on an old dusty shelf. After all the amazing help they gave us they stole our only cell phone. After hitchhiking to the border and getting through without our passports we met a kind Mexican grandfather at the gas station who said his daughter had just left but could turn around for us (she was headed where we needed to go). Suffice it to say she did turn around and not only gave us a 4 hour lift home through the desert but bought us ice cream along the way. While overall this experience was somewhat traumatic I've learned how to be continuously surprised by the kindness of strangers.

(teach) I can teach you how to play hand bells and flute proficiently. Both instruments are undeniably sexy in all settings - church or otherwise.
I guess if you want to learn about Kierkegaard, Hume, or any of those dead Greek DOODS I can teach you some stuff about them. I'll try to give you the best of my knowledge but I can't guarantee any wisdom.
(learn) I would like for someone to teach me how to play guitar and bass better as well as survival skills. I want to be learning something even on my deathbed.
(share) some drink(s) perhaps while we do both of the above? sounds good.
