About Me
I'm originally from Brazil, but I've been living in the U.S. for the last 5 years. I first came here to improve my English skills through a cultural exchange program for work and study. Then I decided to stay a little longer for education and now I am a recent graduate from La Salle University with a Master’s Degree in TESOL, and just started working in my field as an ESL teacher.
I currently live in Center City Philadelphia and it's been a great experience. Philly is the love of my life, and I can't wait for you to fall in love with the city of brotherly love as much as I did.
I am a very friendly, still wanting to be a well-traveled person who wants many lifelong friends along the way. I enjoy learning, dancing, socializing with friends, going to the beach and anything outdoors. I also enjoy cooking, staying home for good movies, and/or home parties.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always looking for new adventures. Of course I love to travel and I think couchsurfing is genius....
I'm still fairly new with the website idea, but I believe is the perfect deal for people who enjoy sharing experiences while exploring new places and different ways of thinking life.

Teach, Learn, Share
That's my philosophy of life. I guess that's why I became a teacher after all...
I am here for this same reason and can't wait to learn and share with others!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a small, but super cute and well located (Rittenhouse Square area) one bedroom apartment. I can offer my couch and/or a twin size air mattress that I can put in the living room. I can provide sheets and pillows as well.
My kitchen is small, but with everything necessary to prepare meals, if you wish. Unfortunately, I don't have laundry on site, but the building offers shared quarter-operated machines down the basement, if you need it. Small bathroom as well, but the shower is decent.
Lucky for you, my apt is walking distance to everything in the city and there are a lot of options regarding to public transportation just outside my door for you to get around with no trouble. I'm here to guide you as well, and will be glad to help you around depending on my availability.
