PHILOSOPHY
It's now or never.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had my first experience as a couchsurfer way back in 2006, on an epic adventure throughout Europe. With the highlights of most trips being the people you meet on them, couchsurfing was definitely perfect for meeting people. Whether slumming on floors with a curtain for a sheet, or being put up in a swish apartment with city and ocean views, I certainly experienced a wide range of "couches" to surf, and loved them all!
I hosted traveller after weary traveller for a few summers after this, but had some issue with silly housemates and was unable to host for the last couple of years. Thankfully, now my partner and I have our own place and cannot wait to meet some new folks and give them a comfy place to rest!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with many wonderful people and had many amazing experiences couchsurfing all over Europe in 2006, currently hosting people in my home, which is an approximate half hour from the centre of Melbourne city!
Interests
I go both ways - whilst I love staying in and cooking some elaborate and healthy vegan meal, curled up under a blanket with a book and a bath on the horizon, I also adore getting out of the house and raging on the dancefloor until I get kicked out (though, my years are holding me back a little!). I also love music and seeing live bands, gardening, hanging out with my amazing boyfriend Lachie and our wonderful pooch, Stumpy, learning new things, shopping for vintage goodies and nerding out over most anything and everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oh gosh, where would I even start...?
Teach, Learn, Share
An eternal student, I have spent the last 29 years of my life learning, and aim to continue to do so. The primary skill I can happily and confidently share is how to cook healthy and delicious vegan meals. I've just finished a Nutrition degree, and preparing vital, cruelty free meals for the ones I love is a passion of mine. I love swapping recipes and ideas and having a buddy to hang out in the kitchen with me.
