About Me
ABOUT ME
between3worlds.com
I'm a breaker of every stereotype one can give (except that he can’t drive and wears glasses). I'm an Indonesian-American classical guitar performer, teacher, blogger, and language enthusiast hailing from New York City. I hold a BM from the New England Conservatory studying under polyglot pedagogue Eliot Fisk (the last student of Andrés Segovia) and am currently pursuing my Master’s at the Robert Schumann Hochschule under Joaquín Clerch in Düsseldorf, Germany. I speak English, Indonesian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
CURRENT MISSION
Learn Dutch and be able to use it functionally with family members.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is good. Everyone has something to share. I love Music, languages, and everything in between whatever that is. I love sharing and working with people. I believe in God, but that shouldn't be a reason we can't be friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to travel the world and meet different people, and share whatever knowledge, happiness, or music that I can pass around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The experience I've had was quite interesting and different than most would have. I look forward to having some in the future again, but considering I have friends in multiple places so it's never really been a necessity. But I've followed Benny Lewis the Irish Polyglot's blog and had good reviews, as well as from Chris Guillebeau. In fact, I've actually referred a friend to CouchSurfing, with which he traveled across the states earlier this year!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've gone to Senegal, West Africa on a community service trip with an organization Putney Student Travel on a full scholarship. The things we did there were amazing and unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a Boy Scout and in JROTC for quite awhile, so I know quite a few things here and there. Being a Classical Guitarist and a student at a Conservatory, I can teach a few things about music. I am also a language/history freak, and if there's anything to talk about, that'd be great!
